Walk through your home and look through the eyes of the potential buyer. Your goal is to create a neat and tidy atmosphere where they can imagine themselves living in. Rush and rummers should be removed to create a visually expansive space. Take down family photos and personal home decor.

Bust out the cleaning supplies and dust, mop, scrub and clean the baseboards. It's important to wash the windows and glass doors at this time also. Replace lightbulbs, hide trash bins, children's toys and bulky items that take up too much space. 

Step 2 Meet With A Professional Stager

A Professional Stager can help put the final touches on your home utilizing some of your existing furniture. Clear the clutter off of your kitchen countertops and store away small appliances, sponges and cleaning supplies. Remove magnets, photos and flyers from your refrigerator.

Step 3 Perfect The Details

Work on that curb appeal and tidy up outside of your home. Mow and edge your lawn, use the leaf blower on the driveway and sidewalk. Clean the pool and ensure the components are operating in tip top shape. Remove pool floats and backyard toys.

Step 4 Model Home

The last step of preparing your home for photos is to make it photo ready! Remove vehicles from the driveway, hide the trash bins, sweep in front of your entryway. Walk in your home and travel the path a potential buyer will tour your house and begin final touches. 

Put remotes and electronic accessories away. Remove the pet bowls, beds and toys. Fluff the pillows and tidy up bed linens. Hang clean, matching towels in the bathrooms. Stage table with tableware & placemat. Turn on all the interior lights and turn off the ceilings. It's photo shoot time!
